Mirrors

LARGE MIRROR
Form the Belleek Pottery's collection.

CLOSE-UP VIEWS

The history of this mirror is a little hazy compared with Queen Victoria's mirror. It was purchased in England, and was part of Mrs McElroy's collection, before being bought by the Belleek Pottery Limited for their collection. It can now be seen in the visitors' Centre at Belleek. Some people believe that these large mirrors were part of the apprentices' final exam but it is hard to believe that these beautifully made pieces were the work of inexperienced craftsmen.
